Amazing job once again by derek. I have now used D.M carpentry on three occasions. The 1st for gate, then a door and now for flooring. Each time i have been very impressed by his time keeping, cleanliness and most important the high quality of his workmanship. i stay in Prestwick and he comes round for the quote, always really reasonable, then follows up on the job when he says he will. Would recommend him on to everyone.

I recently had work carried out by this company. From the first visit made by the owner to discuss the work until the work was completed, there was total professionalism. Ideas were discussed before decisions were made which gave for different opinions to be given although the final decision was certainly left to ourselves. We were grateful for this input though which certainly helped to enhance the finished product. Employees of this company were polite, courteous and tidy in their appearance and work performance. I felt confident enough in the joiners to actually leave them in my home whilst I went out. As for the work itself, I have had a first class job carried out and there are no faults to be found. Throughout the work, dust sheets were placed to protect floors and furnishings and at the end of each working day, everything was tidied (and hoovered!!) before the joiners left. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this company. Thank you for a job very well done!

Pleasant and very much helpful. Has taken me some time and finally found a garage that is not only dependable but make every effort possible to fit customer needs.

Great work and communication. My car broke down ad he was closing but he was still happy to arrange for me to get my car to the garage on the Saturday afternoon. The work was done in less than a day on Monday and the speed and communication made a real difference.

Great service provided by Somerset Garage. Took My LWB Sprinter van in for a number of issues to be sorted. All dealt with promptly. James advised on where to get the cheapest parts and always kept me in the loop. Its a small garage in a busy industrial site, however don't be put off by the size. The work carried out was of a high standard and half the price of everywhere else. I wont go elsewhere for any future mechanical issues.

We found Bridgend Group online. We called them and they were very helpful. When we went to see the car there was no sales pressure which was a pleasant change. Ross our sales representative was on the ball with his knowledge of what was required. The service plan offered was very economical compared to other garages. We would definitely recommend this garage again as it is run more like a family business.

One of the best services and completed work done in our home for a long time. The telephone was answered by a highly efficient and friendly receptionist who.taking a decision about our needs as older folk had Peter the engineer in our house that very day. MORE than repair our fire he returned the next day with the part and left it like new even spray painting the coals which were a bit worn.I will make sure I never lose his number! This firm fixed my shower when Dyno Rod wouldn't touch it as I needed a new hot water cylinder and the pipes had been put in the wrong way. William Kennedy fixed it, it was an airlock! Excellent will use again.

Fantastic service from Barry’s Carpet Care of Ayr. I required all the carpets in my mother’s flat cleaned at short notice. Barry was excellent and gave a very professional service at a very reasonable price. Arranged the appointment by phone and Barry arrived on time and explained how he would clean the carpets. Has run his business for 13 years and it is built on personal recommendations rather than using advertising, and Is not run as part of a costly franchise. The carpets came up as new. My mother was so made up as all the marks had gone. Would totally recommend and so pleased we opted for Barry. Very pleasant guy who went out of his way to help. His prices are all on his website so you can workout the pricing. I hadn’t a clue which company to use but I found Barry through Google reviews and really so pleased I did so.

Gordon from Clearflow attended at our our apparent block within the hour to attend to blocked communal drains . He was highly efficient and patient until he found the source of the blockage . He then contacted an emergency plumber to repair damaged drains . Andy (the plumber ) was there within half an hour and sorted the problem . There was no nonsense about forms , payments, or paperwork, it was all about the customer and getting the problem solved. His bill was very reasonable considering a weekend call out at short notice . Excellent service, friendly helpful guys

I keep going back to these for any vehicle hire. Motors are spotless (picked up from others to find them full of litter and in one case oil all over the floor). Customer service is always pleasant and helpful too. And finally, whatever you book, you get, turned up to others to pickup a motor and they don't have it available!

There was a bit of stress from the outset. There was no parking space in the rental compound so I had the choice to either leave my car parked on a busy road, or get it taken somewhere else. I chose to get it collected and taken off road. I felt that the customer service agent was slightly unhelpful, and the 1st class service which Enterprise strive for appeared absent. There was then a problem with payment, and it was suggested I may not have funds available, which was incorrect. Once again a more person centred approach would have been better, and undue stress would have been avoided. I was also slightly unhappy about the quantity of fuel that was registered. It was noted that there was between half empty, and a quarter tank, when it was infact just slightly above empty. I took a picture of the fuel gauge with my phone as I anticipated this being brought up on return. This did happen, and luckily I had the picture evidence to back up my claim, otherwise I'd have been even more out of pocket. I actually left more fuel in it. I've hired a few vehicles in the past and there has been no stress. This was the last thing I expected and it didn't exactly make what was an already stressful period even worse. Unfortunately I probably won't use enterprise again. I hope that no one else has a similar experience, and that a more person centred high class customer service approach is adopted.

When we lost our older brother and my parents their eldest son tragically 2 and a half years ago, we were in total shock, heartbroken and distraught. We had never lost a loved one before and didn’t know the 1st thing about arranging a funeral let alone my brothers. Until my neighbour Lorraine Morton stepped in. She personally visited my parents and I at my parents house and went over all the arrangements. She made my grieving parents, whom are elderly, feel so much at ease at a very sad heartbreaking time. Lorraine was brilliant and very professional. She made sure my brother got a great send off. We don’t know how we would have managed without her. My parents and I can’t thank Lorraine enough. She is an angel and she will never be forgotten. I would recommend her in a heartbeat to anyone and guartentee a second to none service.

Could not have asked for a better service. Everything was handled in a very professional and efficient manner with no stress for the family. ML Williams took care of both my parents and I would recommend them completely.

Took our lawnmower to David which was in a very sorry state, didn't start and blades etc were very poor condition. David asked for a couple of days to have a look at it and see if it was worth fixing. He worked a miracle on it and it looks and sounds like a new machine and we had it back in 3days. Big bonus was the bill was less than he thought the cost to fix could have been. Excellent service and would highly recommend David who is friendly and very knowledgeable.

I love a trip here during the Christmas build up due to their amazing selection of decorations. Makes me feel like a child again! They also sell candles at great prices which is a nice surprise. Massive selection on garden tools, decorations etc. Only downside is the price of the cafe. It is nice, don't get me wrong. but it seems a bit steep.

Love this place but it is pretty pricey. If I was super rich I would spend a lot of money here! It is much more than just a garden centre - it also has a wide range of gifts such as toys, books, candles, clothes and more, as well as a large cafe. It does have a little playground but it could do with expanding on this to keep the kids entertained. If you're doing up your garden then this is the place to go.

Lovely hairdressers. I came for an updo for a wedding the following day and asked for a style that would stay in over night. It held beautifully. The style looked great the first day and after sleeping on it and putting a couple of pieces back in place, it held all the next day too! I think it would have been fine the third day but I had had enough by then!

I visited here last sunday ( very handy for shift workers) and for the first time ever, felt comfortable and relaxed in a hairdressers. Rachel took her time to consult me about every aspect of my hair, style etc then I had a head massage done by her young assistant before getting a GREAT cut, style and blow dry. There was no hurry, even though it was after closing time. A terrific experience. I'll be back

Carson has been to stay with vera and norman twice now and will be back soon when we go to Aberdeen. Lovely people who really care, dog well looked after. Would not trust my pup with anyone else now. You can go away knowing your beloved pet is fed, walked and safe.

Staff here are extremely helpful and knowledgeable. The computers are very up to date and your first hour is free. It is very well decorated and has an abundance of books, magazines, dvds and music. They also hold classes to teach computer.

We got married in April 2013. We booked Robert Clark Photography because a close friend highly recommended them. My main aim was to have natural looking photos but my husband was dreading getting his photo taken.....despite this somehow Robert and Susan managed to provide us with lots of beautiful photos.....too many to choose from! They exceeded our expectations! Our photos tell the story of our big day and within each photo Robert and Susan have managed to capture all the emotion involved, particularly in the photos taken during the speeches. Looking at the photos transports me back to that day and all the emotions come flooding back, I am sure they will continue to have this effect on me for years to come which is exactly what you want from a wedding photographer. On the day Robert and Susan made everyone feel comfortable and relaxed in front of the camera. Communication before and after the day was very efficient, professional and friendly. I really could go on and on but in a nutshell....from beginning to end Robert Clark Photography were exceptional.

John Clark Plumbing transformed my bathroom. From planning to execution, he and his team made the process worry free. All the team were very hard working, tidy and friendly, including the electrician and joiner that he brought in. The standard of finish was excellent, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Additionally, he always turned up when he said he would and there was great communication. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

It's a simple wee shop. Used it for years for the shirts and for my boat or car. Write down what you want and where you want it and it's usually fine. If it's not which has been a few times the guy always fixes no problem and no drama. And it's cheap so can't complain.

Great food at average prices. Ordered here from just eat for years now and i have rarely had a bad word about the food or the manager. Delivery times are very fast and I am rarely waiting longer than 30 minutes.

Visited here today, 8/7/18, had been meaning to try it for a while. I don’t often leave reviews but feel this little place deserves the positive review I’m giving. My wife and I were welcomed by the the very friendly staff, shown to our table at the window with a beautiful view over the sea. The food was perfectly cooked & the flavours were spot-on, the accompanying rice was light and fluffy... the staff were all very attentive and the price was very reasonable. All-in-all a perfect first time experience, thank you. We will be back 👍🏽

Bit out of the way but worth the effort in finding it. On the promenade in Ayr and the view over to Arrange on a beautiful summer night was lovely. Food was great and plentiful although a tad pricey but staff were very attentive and made us feel very welcome. Will return in the future I'm sure.

Fantastic company got stranded in ayr and they brought us back from ayr to lesmahagow then I left my phone in the taxi and the guy posted it back to me the next day

OK. Fast enough service. A bit expensive, but most taxis are, and they have to make their money somehow. Pity the drivers don't get paid more (for all taxi companies).

I bring my dog to Dalblair Vets to see the chiropractor, but it is not my usual practice (I live 30 miles away) Traveling to the last appointment, my dog became very distressed on the train and I was very concerned about our journey home. They fit us in for an appointment with a vet immediately, my dog was given a though examination and was prescribed a sedative so we could make the journey home. They then allowed us to wait in a private room for the chiropractor appointment to avoid further stress for my dog (and me!) Very friendly and professional service.

Wouldn't trust anyone else with our dogs. Best vets by a mile.

There's not enough stars to rate the service in Vets4pets Ayr branch. I use this practice regularly. Being open 7 days a week is brilliant and they are extremely accommodating when it comes to booking an appointment. I've never had a bad experience. The reception staff are always so friendly and welcoming and make such a fuss over my dog and the vets are extremely patient,kind and knowledgeable. My dog LOVES going there..even when he has to stay in!!! Can't recommend them enough!

I took in an injured baby seagull.... no one else was interested.... the girls were fab....unfortunately the bird had to be put to sleep.... I left the bird with the girls at reception and he was humanly put to sleep.... they didn’t want a penny for doing this.... thank you so much vets for pets Ayr .... it’s so nice....

My dog Millie loved her visits here which was amazing ! Rachel explained everything she was doing and why ! Millie was very relaxed and enjoyed her physio sessions. Thank you ladies
