Decent enough for a wedding, not sure if I would stay there by choice. Great venue for the autumn and winter months weddings but summer weddings get a little to hot inside. (last visit the bar in the foyer took an age to serve!)
Stayed in courtyard room. Room very nice, very clean, very spacious. Staff were extremely helpful, a late night fire alarm was dealt with swiftly and impressively. We ate dinner and breakfast in the restaurant and were very pleased with both the food and the service. The waiter at our evening meal particularly couldn't have been more friendly or attentive.

quiet, nice place. rooms bit oldish but absolutely perfect. Good breakfast, bar is very good. Close to the sea and the sunset is beautiful from the window. (if you are lucky)
Good central location. Staff helpful and friendly. Rooms are slightly dated, but clean. There is no soundproofing between rooms adjoining or from above - very noisy.

First courses lovely. I had chicken in tarragon cream sauce for main which was lovely. My husband had the liver and onions, he started to eat it but after a couple of mouthfuls found it to be red. We told the waitress and she reported it to the chef whereby he said next time ask for it well done.....you should never eat liver red!! Wrong answer Mr Chef!
4 for dinner, tourists in Ayr. Extra-ordinary food, exceptional presentation. Had vegetable soup, the venison and ice cream. Others had steaks and salmon. All looked beautiful, came hot and we did all but lick the plates. We eat at good restaurants a lot, this was clearly a cut above.

Very friendly place. Place was jumping but staff and customers went out of there way to accommodate the needs of our more extended family. A nice refreshing experience and not one replicated in all establishments.
Lovely beer garden especial when sunny! Very good drinks prices including special offers. Cheery and efficient bar staff.

34 Carrick Rd Ln, Ayr KA7 2RB, UK – 01292 282841
room was nice and clean bright and fresh bed was comfy me and my friend stayed graham the owner was lovely all was well until wee tried to open the sash window which to our horror came crashing down nearly taking our hands off and damaged all the wood at the side of window frame got such a fright kind of ruined our night a bit on telling graham he said wee would have to pay for the damage I don't think that was right as wee didn't deliberately break anything it could have happened to anyone but because he wee such a nice man wee felt bad for him so we gave him 25 pounds towards repair of window frame we were well within our rights not to. our safety should have been first if a child had been at the window doesn't bear thinking but its a lovely wee place to stay
Clean Friendly-would stay again!
If you would like something truly different you might like to have a look at Airbnb. These are mostly B and Bs provided by people on a very informal basis. The may have a spare room, a yurt, a cottage or a barge with space they can receive guests for a night or a month! The website is highly professional. You can really see what you are going to get. Very well worth a look. Airbnb also show 'conventional' B&Bs as well. Enjoy!

Love the site, it's our second home. Wardens are fantastic and the location is perfect. If we could site our caravan here we would in a heartbeat. It's a shame South Ayrshire Council want the land back. This will be a major blow to the regulars who enjoy this site and even more so to the local economy that will be missing out on the extra income that we bring.
Lovely site. Easy walk into the centre of Ayr. First time here but we will be coming back again.
Crofthead Caravan Park, Ayr KA6 6EN, UK – 01292 263516
Got back home from Crofthead holiday park yesterday and we wish we could of stayed longer. Excellent accommodation, them lodges have everything you need and are well designed. The staff on the park were very friendly especially Lewis who was always very busy but still made an effort to talk. It was great for us all to get into the hot tub after days out walking and seeing various places like Culzean Castle which is only 30 mins drive away from the park as is heads of Ayr Farm Park which is great for kids, we're you can feed animals yourself. The beach was nice too so we'll definitely be looking to come back here at some point next year.
What a gem of a holiday park, quiet and friendly. 10/10..
