Ayr India

10 Seafield Rd, Ayr KA7 4AD, UK – 01292 263731

Visited here today, 8/7/18, had been meaning to try it for a while. I don’t often leave reviews but feel this little place deserves the positive review I’m giving. My wife and I were welcomed by the the very friendly staff, shown to our table at the window with a beautiful view over the sea. The food was perfectly cooked & the flavours were spot-on, the accompanying rice was light and fluffy... the staff were all very attentive and the price was very reasonable. All-in-all a perfect first time experience, thank you. We will be back 👍🏽

Bit out of the way but worth the effort in finding it. On the promenade in Ayr and the view over to Arrange on a beautiful summer night was lovely. Food was great and plentiful although a tad pricey but staff were very attentive and made us feel very welcome. Will return in the future I'm sure.

Tudor - Ayr

8 Beresford Terrace, Ayr KA7 2EG, UK – 01292 261404

Just had lunch here was great. Would highly recommend trying it. Friendly staff & great food at a decent price. Also licenced 😁

Very good food. Very reasonable priced considering location at top of town. Popped in for a lunch with wife, neither disappointed with the quality. Presentation of a high standard, and decor very nice. Staff rushed off their feet, always a good sign of a popular place.

Best Reviewed Indian Restaurants and Takeaways in Ayr or in Ayr area

Ayr India Town Centre

1 Alloway Pl, Ayr KA7 2AA, UK – 01292 261026

Went for lunch. The vegetable pakora was beautifully done and the aloo ghobi dry and well spiced. The service was friendly and not too overbearing. Not the cheapest of Indian but the food was worth it. I’ll be back the next time I’m in Ayr.

Had a very nice lunch. Would recommend it to anyone. Great food and very friendly staff.

Kashmir Indian Restaurant

42 Sandgate, Ayr KA7 1BX, UK – 01292 611772

Nice big place. Easy to find. Staff very friendly and chatty plus attending to your every need. This was my first authentic Indian meal and I will be back. The wife is a veteran when it comes to Indian food and she loved it. Good price too. Thanks!

Been to almost every curry place in ayr and rupee room is definitely the king. Fresh and flavorful food. Very friendly and helpful staff. You absolutely can't go wrong!

Best Reviewed Italian Pasta and Pizza Restaurants

72 Fort St, Ayr KA7 1EH, UK – 01292 263607

2 Courses for £10. Great choice on the menu, and we'll presented. Excellent and amenable staff. Great for a quick lunch or something extra. Can't go wrong for the money.

The staff are cheery, friendly and very helpful. The food is tasty and you get a generous portion. It is family friendly and suitable for wheelchair users. The only down side is the food is very expensive but, saying that, they do deals, one of which is 2 courses for £10 which we opted for and it was well worth the money. Check their window for any deals that are on. The restaurant is very clean and has a good atmosphere. Well done to all staff for your great service.

Frankie & Benny's

Unit 4 Highfield Dr, Ayr KA8 9SH, UK – 01292 272480

Best steak I've had in a long time. Considering how much pressure all staff were under at the time. Top marks 👍

Same good standard as always expected from a Frankie and Benny's. The staff were very professional and friendly and the food good quality. Location is nothing special, but it is convenient for travelling in the area.

Nice Place situated at the top of Ayr high street. Pay and display Parking available 5 minutes away .Very popular but usually not long to wait for a table. Good food with lots on the menu. This is a family friendly place with a kids menu too. Mexican food on the menu. Although, just putting chillies in a dish does not make it Mexican food. Wheel chair entrance. Clean toilets and friendly staff.

Beautiful meal, food was presented beautifully and was hot and tasted fantastic. Lovely staff, very attentive but not in your face. Good prices. Nice environment. What more can you ask for. Will definately be a repeat visitor.

Food was OK standard but got charged 8 pounds for a kid who's 4 she had a kids main..the same price for a kids three course meal which i thought was a joke should have only charged for the main meal she had not for a started and dessert as well not impressed also wasn't told that they would charge for all three when she couldn't eat all that!

Convenient for those on their way from Glasgow down to the Irish ferries to stop at for a bite to eat. The usual Subway menu is on offer and there is a small seating area.

Great place, good & fast service. Friendly staff. Big Plus, Ed Sheeran doppelganger works there too.

The West Kirk - JD Wetherspoon

58a Sandgate, Ayr KA7 1BX, UK – 01292 880416

Love going for a walk and heading here for breakfast, service was good and staff friendly, my scrambled eggs and toast were tasty and cooked to perfection. The unlimited tea and coffee were a bonus. Love the bathrooms here, always spotless.

As a bloodhound, I found this Spoons. Lovely setting inside an old church that was built in 1845. Closed in 1981 and since upgraded to a Wetherspoons pub. As with everywhere else in Scotland, you pay with a £10 note and got the guaranteed Scottish £5 note in my change. Now I have to buy another pint with that lol HEY!! Has anyone noticed that the bad reviews to places (not just here) tend to come from people who make only a few reviews (most of which are complaints)?

Rabbies Bar

23 Burns Statue Square, Ayr KA7 1SU, UK – 01292 262112

Quite a traditional style pub but with a modern feel due to the friendly staff and the multiple televisions for sports. Would be 5 stars if not for the prices being a tad high. £1.80 for a can of juice with a glass and ice is bad for me.

Was there for a reunion, even though extremely busy still managed to get served quick enough at the bar. Bar staff were friendly as we're the locals. Good place for a gathering... Nice space at the back giving you plenty of room to catch up
